Thursday, December 18, 2008/ 5:00 PM Mersing-Melaka Trip Hey hey hey! I'm back from Malaysia. I went to Mersing, and then Melaka with my parents and my younger brother. The car was finally quite spacious and comfortable because there were only two people at the back :D My elder brother looked after my four bunnies. Thankfully, they are alright :D Day 1 (: We set off at about 11 am. The journey to Mersing was not that long. It was about 2 hours only, and i was very bored in the car. I ate cake and crackers inside. Enjoyed the nice view outside. It was so green outside. Then we reached, the hotel. The entrance was already quite disgusting, like entering a conference room. We checked in but the hotel was so disorganised and we had to pass by the back of the hotel kitchen to make our way to our room. Very foul smell. We had to climb 3 storeys too ): Bad hotel.  The pink Seri Malaysia hotel. I rate it -1 star. No, make it -infinity.  At the beach, with super high tide.    MUM! :D        That was the nicest pictures for day 1. I looked forward to day 2 because the hotel sucks, but the food in Mersing was quite nice I think. My family went for sightseeing only, and bought dried snacks for my relatives. Oh yeah, the banana fritters is to die for :D Yum yum. Let's move on...Day 2! We woke up at about 8am. Went for breakfast. The breakfast was Nasi Lemak and Fried Noodles, not nice. ): I think the hotel suckz and i cannot wait to get the hell out of it.   Then, we went to Melaka. Wow, it was one busy city! The traffic there is crazy. My dad wanted to get a room in Mahkota Hotel but it was too expensive for him!! Then, we went to a green hotel. It looked quite nice on the outside but the location was, like in a red-light district. Lol. The hotel was accessible because a huge shopping center and also places of interest were situated next to it!First, we went to an observation tower. It lasted for 10 minutes I think. It was quite fun because we got to see many things from the top! Then, we went shopping in this enormous, gigantic shopping centre. I also rode a trishaw with my younger brother. The distance was less than 2km, lol. :D But anyway, it was my first time riding a trishaw so it was a brand new experience. The hotel room was thankfully so much more cleaner and the toilet was bigger and better. It was pink! The bed sheets had no stains too, unlike the hotel we went in the first day. :D         Day 2! We woke up at 8am again, and then we went for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. The roti prata there was awesome! It was so crispy and the layers and layers of dough inside was so soft. The curry was delectable, with pieces of meat inside. It was soft and tender. Then, we went back to the hotel to egest and booked out. Went to the river and took a boat there. The whole journey was 1 hr, and i slept for three-quarter of the journey. Lol.                 Then, we went to my aunty's house in the kampong there. Later, we had our final shopping and we went back to Singapore! I love singapore best. The first thing i did when we arrived was checking our my dear bunnies, and switched on the computer. 13 days to 2009! :D |
