Saturday, October 18, 2008/ 2:10 PM Hectic Day Today was a hectic but nevertheless, a very fruitful day :D This is because of two events occurring the very same day! First up, it was the inter-unit Ultimate Frisbee Competition. I left my house at 1.25pm and took the bus. Then, i took the mrt to Sembawang where my team consisting of Nabillah, Jia Hui, Jian Hui, Pira, Liang Wei, Dinn and Kelvan were supposed to meet. There were also Ai Hui and Natasha(?). Then, we took the bus to Canberra secondary School. Canberra Secondary was the host school. We waited for the host school to signal the start of the competition. We trained first, because they were only 3 fields for playing and there were six teams vying to move on to the quarter finals. In total, there were 10 schools. We trained, and trained and we were here not to win :D We doubt we would pass through the first round :D First up, it was YTSS vs NVSS. I was mainly the goalkeeper :D It was very fun because they did not play dirty and we won them by 5-0. I felt so happy. We never thought of winning this. Then, it was the next opponent school. They played extremely DIRTY and we fouled them wahaha. They sucks to the holy core. Nevertheless, we managed to defeat them by 4-0. woohoo. Fellow Nabilah and the other girls caught me on camera hopping like a bunny, aw so humiliating D: The finals were inching closer. Next up, Riverside Secondary School. They played very well! The guy that were defending me was skilful. But we still defeat them by 3-0. It was an unexpected victory. The funny thing was that his legs pushed the frisbee, and i caught it! :D Wahaha. Canberra Secondary School. They were too good, and so we lost badly. But we clinched the runner-up award! :D Very happy, and Ai Hui got runner-up too for the skipping competition. Two trophies to be added to the NPCC cupboard! . . . . . Genevieve's Birthday Party! Genevieve's cousin picked me up to the condo. There, i saw the rest of 3/7s already finished eating and playing cards. I had 3 fried chickens. It was oily but delectable. As we had nothing better to do, we roamed the condominium and played with the seesaw and these pole that made us very, very dizzy! :D We ate the cake. Then, the class also played with the seesaw and that pole. Later, we played 'truth or dare'. Many people chose 'truth' but the game started to get more and more boring, and so we left! :D typed so much. Phew. 18/10/2008 2.32pm It's been 2 days, and i missed you already...
